I did a thing.

A thing I'm very proud of.

It's called FamiliarFaces. Alongside Jonathan Nwauzu and Rashid Mohamed, we founded Mother’s first creative platform FamiliarFaces, an agency safe space and creative platform dedicated to nurturing projects from underrepresented talent.

What set FamiliarFaces apart from other DE&I initiatives was its community-led, leadership supported approach and the fact that it was funded by Mother, allowing individuals to expense the time they dedicated to being a member.

The launch featured a podcast, "You Should Know About This" (#YSKATTT), providing insight into underrepresented communities in the creative industry.

Running FamiliarFaces during my time at Mother has been one of the most rewarding experiences, teaching me the foundations of branding with intention. Witnessing this Mother-born brand thrive in all its branded and designed glory long after my departure is my proud legacy at one of my favorite agencies.
